"Holding On" is a visual performance that interprets Noor Jamal's poem (of the same name) through an experimental dance where the performer and filmmaker improvised motions and visuals in response to the performer's movement and the lighting aesthetics controlled by the filmmaker. This piece was filmed during the height of the Covid pandemic in Los Angeles County in 2020.
