Isarithm is a documentary exploring the African drumming roots of Latin American music, and its relationship to preserving ancestral practices and combating systemic oppression through codified knowledge (rhythm). Made in partnership with the Alliance for California Traditional Arts, the project was created for the rehabilitative arts program at the men’s correctional facility in Chowchilla, California.
