Mi Kalpa, Mi Culpa (My Cosmic Time, My Fault) is a documentary that explores how our personal and cultural practices in Los Angeles are rooted in a relationship to historical rituals and spiritual beliefs that extend hundreds of years and thousands of miles. Filmed in Mexico and Los Angeles, the project draws poetic connections between the traditions of Danza de los Voladores, the labor of power line mechanics, and the playfulness of children.
